Bonnie’s Pond

Ok, so for those of you who don’t know and do care (prolly not many) I have a tooth infection. I had a little bit of pain on the weekend and so I made an appointment to see the dentist on monday but by monday night my face had started to swell and by tuesday I looked somwhat like a sooky chipmunk.

I called the dentist back on tuesday and said … “you know that apointment you made me for a week ago? yeah thats not going to cut it , if my face swells anymore my eye is going to close up” They said I could come in right away.

They are not sure at this point what has corsed it (which is good it means at the very least its not my wisdom teeth. but it also means I have five days of antibiotics to take and wait for the swelling to go down and then I get to go back to the dentist for more pokeing and prodding and working out what needs to be done.

But …. well …… Beacuse I am my fathers daughter …. and well …… because he told me I could ….. I lanced the absess today. Which I know sounds gross and rather painfull but infact it was a huge releaf to get some of the puss out of my mouth and release some of the pressure. I did it the right way I disenfected the sowing neadle I used and I rinsed with salt water. I am not sure why everyone goes so pail when I tell them I lanced it myself. My dad sure didn’t have a problem with it
