There are some song lyrics that go ….

“I got a heart full of rubberbands That keep… getting… caught on… things”

These lyrics I can relate to. My heart is constantly getting caught on things and when it does its almost like my chest has taken a sharp inhale of breath and for a split seccond everything in freezes.

There are three little words that never fail to have this effect on me and they are the words

Save our soles

I often wonder if people shorten it to S.O.S not so much to make it shorter but just because of the enormity of their meaning. Have you ever stopped to wonder in what cercemstanses the words get used? We don’t just use them cause we lost our keys and can’t get into the house. Why not use the world help? Why save our soles? And how many people have found them selves in a situation where they have not only had to use the words but in a situation where they belive that their soles arn’t safe no matter what the next moment brings.

    they shortened it because by the time … .- …- . — ..- .-. … — ..- .-.. … was sent, the boat would’ve sunk.

You are a radio. You are an open door I am a faulty string of blue christmas lights. You swim through frequencies. You let that stranger in, as I’m blinking off and on and off again
