The N Key

One of the interesting things about haveing had my lappy for quite some time is that the keys (aside from falling off which I hear is a bit of a problem with the macs) have started to slowly wear down. The most worn off all my letter keys is the N key.

Yes, Yes, Small things, small brains ….. Whatever

I find it fasinating cause it means that the key I touch the most is the n key (the e key is the second most worn followed by the a) it wouldn’t help that my name have two n’s in it and its prolly the word that I type the most offten followed by resonate which also has an n in it and the word and.

this post has 41 N’s in it

I also when I write things use the word things alot, if I ever had to write anything for school I would usually proof read once for punctuation ones for spelling and once where I would replace all the things with propper words. I wonder if my bad articulation has helped to lead to the demise of the N key.

Wow! The only key on my laptop keyboard that is worn is the ‘N’ key (the last stroke is almost gone, the rest is okay). Every other key is perfectly fine.

Might have something to do with laptop keyboards, because my last desktop keyboard had several keys gone. And a whole in a few - one being the left arrow. Which I put down to too much Quake that the time. :-)
Anyways, I’d expect ‘e’ to get more wear, but I guess not!

I was thinking it might also have something to do with the fact that when I hit the n key its usually with a nail where as most of the others are with the pad of my finger

I really really love that ocen photo of yours on flicker
