New York
Published by Bonnie December 24th, 2007 in UncategorizedWell I finally made it to New York, I say finally because my flight from Melbourne to LAX ended up being delayed so I missed the connecting flight to JFK which means I had to wait around at LAX for another 3 and a half hours. Which all things considered was not to bad given that the couple in front of me missed their connecting flight to mexico and couldn’t get another one till the 23rd.
I am still a little tired and out of it though I am slowly starting to catch up on sleep.
The thing I find most interesting about traveling any great distance is the people you meet and come across. On the flight from LAX to JFK I sat next to a really really excentic woman who oftterd me a lollie when I sat down and said that it was to solidify our friendship. I said I liked friendships that were solidifyed with lollies and I took it. She said I was her kinda person. She was an interesting character, a writter who was being picked up from the air port by her choffer. Aparently her daughter would not let her drive anymore since she had rolled her car three times in order to avoid a deer
Some very interesting people
