June 21st, shortest day of the year, along with Alycia’s birthday and Kristen’s birthday.

I was talking to a yoga friend about winter solstice and she said that the Collingwood children’s farm does a yearly bonfire to celebrate which is supposed to be the biggest bonfire in the southern hemisphere. I wonder if ‘biggest bonfire in the southern hemisphere’ is a statement like ‘Australians best chicken Parma’. So I thought, big ball of fire, boyfriend with slightly pyro tendances perfect thing to take him to do on a Saturday night especially given that hes never been to a bonfire. It was pretty cool and as it turns out It was the biggest bonfire I had been too and they had mulled wine which was warm spiced wine mmmmmm mulled wine *big grin*
