After school care yoga
Published by Bonnie November 1st, 2006 in YogaSo…. I am sitting in what used to my art room in primary school, waiting for the kids of alphington primary school to have their afternoon tea so that they can come and do yoga with me.
All the kids begin by lineing up outside, haveing their names marked off the roll and then they come in side wash their hand and grab a plate of food. I am sitting in the corner wathing as kid after kid goes washes there hands and lines up for food. No one is telling them to wash their hands they are just doing it and its every single kid. Not one kid is forgetting to wash their hands.
Now for those of you who don’t work with kids this is simply amazing, normally to get a kid to wash his or her hands you have to ask them at lest five times and threaten them with death.
So how were the after school carers managing it??
as the children got their names marked off the list and came inside the woman squired soap into their hands so they had no hoice but to go over to the sink and get rid of the soap before they ate
I was sooo impresed
