Horse rideing with Thao

Went horse rideing on the weekend with Thao James Beth Chrissy G Lara and a freind of Laras whos name was Garry. We had an awsome time. First came the drive all the way up to Apolo bay in my little stay puft car with Thao James and Beth (chris rode his bike) Then some lunch and some general hanging around and sleeping on the grass.

Then we actually went horse riding which was a two hour horse ride with lots of opertunitys for a good canter along the beach. Not that my horse and I actually cantered we were to busy perfecting our trotting style. I think the high light for me was watching Thao being match up with a horse that was just simply a horse version of himself. It was short stocky and stubborn as all hell. Just watching the two of them was like watching a battle of wills.

No one fell off and a great time was had by all, even James and Chris who I bealive went to the pub rather than actually riding.

After rideing we drove to port campbel in the rain and the dark (no a problem for us in the car but boy it would have been rather scary for chris on his bike) where we stayed the night in a two differnt fancy. modern and rather sheek villas paid for by Thao.Chris cooked a wonderfull meal while the rest of us just tryed our hardest to stay awake and focused, which was something that I failed dismally at seeing as I actually fell asleep with all of the people on the couch around me. I took my self of to bed after that.

The next day was the drive all the way home. And I am greatfull to James for driving staypuft the marshmellow car home cause I got to relax in the back seat with thao and I got a little bit of knitting done at the same time :D

Over all a great weekend and I look very much forward to doing it again next year for Thaos 25th
