fragment

” I wrote this thing a while ago, like the rain one, that was a long comparison of people and paintings and I was reminded of it today when we were sitting on the bench. We had just had that long discussion about our pasts and I glanced at your eyes and they were a kind of swirly green colour that just reminded me of a painting of Monet’s ( the waterlilly one) I am doing for my art cat. Monet never liked it because he said ” I can never quite get the swaying motion of the reeds under the water” and I fount it amusing because his paintings are so brilliant, but I saw what he ment today in your eyes. There is so much more to you deep down inside thean you let on, a kind of beautiful glimmery poetic intelligence and gradually as I get to know you even better the more interesting things I find about you”
