6410 steps a day
Published by Bonnie June 2nd, 2005 in Bonnie PhilosopyMy mother has a pedomitor (on of those little thing you attach to you and it counts the steps as you walk) I became a little facinated with it when she said your suposed to do 10 000 steps a day on average and she was having trouble getting to 10 000 even with the walking she was doing at lunch time.
I thought to my self 10 000?? Easy with all the yoga I do I’d make 10 000 with out a question. I wore it for around 14 hours on wednesday ( which btw is my busyest day) and I got to 6 410
Hmmmmm seems like a chalange
I wonder if I could walk and work on my computer at the same time *puts on pondering face* I have always suggested that motile put peoples computer screans in front of tread mill that way they could walk and type at the same time. IT would kinda make every one look like lab rats though.

I got one for free in my packet of Special K bars so I tried it out today. I got up to 10000 at about 7 pm. Being at school today I ended up walking around a lot because I had students chasing me wanting assignments back and every time I had to go to my office to get them out, one at a time. So I guess that helped. I also walk to/from school. It’s an interesting experiment but I don’t know if I’ll bother every day.
It is an interesting experiment I always thought I was a busy and active person, rushing here, rushing there but as it turns out I’m busy but not all that active I walk only really to get from one place to another.
Kids harrasing you like you used to harras teachers huh??
Me? harass teachers?
No, they’re good kids (the ones that actually care about how they go at school). I don’t mind them being interested in their marks.
but you were one of those kids that followed teachers around and asked for your marks back weren’t you?? I would be very supprised if you said no to that.
I always wanted to know my mark but I would never have asked for them its a weir thing I had where for some reason I felt that if I asked for a mark it ment I thought I had done well and if I hadn’t done well I would have been embarrised because it lookes like I tryed really had, thought I did well and just simply was not good enough.
Kinda screwed up teenager logic
No, I didn’t like knowing my marks. And it got worse once I started uni. Fear of failure or something.
ahh same as me.
I really thought you were the other way around
